Deciduous medium growth habit, lustrous dark green elliptical leaves and big colourful frilly mopheads. The close-knit midsummer flowers are defined by large prominently serrated sepals and opulent prismatic shades that range from yellowish green, deep blue and royal purple to pink, depending on the soil pH.
