Camellia japonica Il Tramonto

Superb old variety with subtle and elegant flowers. In March-April, its large flowers nested in rosettes, finely ribbed, are carmine pink slightly orange. Their colour is lighter between the veins. Some petals may be streaked pink to pinkish white.
