Drimys aromatica

Striking, slow growing evergreen shrub. It has a compact habit, with upright branches full of dense leaves. Its foliage is aromatic with a coppery tinge, which is effective the rich red stems. The small, fragrant pinkish white flowers nestle amongst the foliage, turning into dark black fruit during the autumn.
