Broad, upright, slow growing hybrid. Purple-red winter buds open to slightly fragrant white flowers in horizontal nodding racemes in April. New foliage emerges yellow-green, changes to shiny dark green in summer, and turns bronze in winter. Prefers well drained moist soil and part sun.Shelter from cold drying winds.
