Spider Plant. A cream and green broad-leafed plant, often used as a house plant, but ideal for edging and some background bedding situations. Prefers full sun, or partial shade with moist soil or compost.
Evergreen, rhizomatous perennial to 1m tall forming a clump of variegated, narrow, upright to arching leaves with green and creamy-white stripes. Small, star-shaped white flowers are borne on the tips of stems in summer. A hardy spider plant for outdoors!
