Cotinus coggygria Winecraft Black

A kaleidoscope of seasonal colour captivates from spring through frost! Smoky plum-purple foliage deepens to nearly black then in fall it lights the landscape in wine reds and oranges. The rounded leaves are beautifully veined and after a summer shower, the water droplets glisten on the foliage like shimmering crystals. Wispy red flowers create a hazy-violet ‘smoke’ that gives this compact beauty its common name.
