A clipped evergreen shrub with glossy, bright green leaves margined yellow. White flowers, followed by blue-black berries. Flowers from August to September. Fruits from August Evergreen. An excellent topiary specimen. Suitable for pots if fed and watered regularly.
The small, glossy, dark green leaves look almost like 'box', making it a perfect subject for topiary. Relatively fast growing, it will need trimming regularly to keep it tidy. Requires a sunny, sheltered position and might behave as a semi-evergreen in colder winters. They will grow in any ordinary soil in either sunshine or shade. Bears small white flowers early to mid-summer if the plants are left untrimmed. 100-140cm tall and looks equally stunning in a pot.
