Dense, upright, evergreen shrub with leathery, spiny leaves. It is grown for its densely packed racemes of fragrant yellow flowers, which are frost resistant and look especially attractive in the autumn and winter sun.
A striking evergreen shrub with bright green leaves, coppery-bronze when young and showy clusters of yellow flowers in late Winter or early Spring. Clusters of blue-black fruit will follow the flowers in late summer/autumn.
