  • Phyllostachys aureosulcata Aureocaulis

    Yellow Stem Bamboo/Golden crook stem. Culms are greenish when new becoming a rich banana yellow and can turn to orange and reddish colours. Small, delicate, light green glossy leaves make an eye-catching contrast to the brightly coloured stems. Tall and graceful, this bamboo adds coloured animation in a breeze. A good subject for tall screening.

    Black Bamboo. A clump-forming arching bamboo with slender green canes that turn black in their second or third year. Narrow dark green leaves. Height 3-5m. Spread 2-3m. Evergreen. Plant in rich soil in a sunny site. Not invasive good as a specimen. Ideal for large tubs.
