Stag's Horn Sumach. An upright suckering shrub or tree with divided dark green finely cut leaves eaves turning orange-red in autumn. Yellow-green flowers are followed by crimson-red fruit on female plants. Height 5m. Spread 6m. Female.
Lemon-lime foliage, fuzzy stems, and intense fall colour make this tree stunning.. It grows into an upright, rounded form about 6 feet tall and as wide. In Autumn leaves turn yellow, scarlet, and orange. Flowers are yellowish green and followed, on female plants, by hairy, dark red fruit. This plant spreads by suckers and can be invasive.
