Common Beech. A British native tree with wavy margined leaves, pale at first, turning glossy dark green. Height 25m. Spread 15m. Deciduous. A great hedging plant. Plant 30cm apart. Clip once a year and the leaves turn russet in autumn and stay on until spring. (£7.50 each or £6 each for 25 or more).
